Claudia Bertolero is a Peruvian designer.
She comes from an Italian-Peruvian family and was educated in the city of Lima. In Miami she studied Business Administration and Marketing at the University of Miami and Miami International Fashion Merchandising University of Art and Design. However, her work experience in Prada and Versace was what led her to take the next step. So much so that she decided to move to Milan (Italy). There was a course of Interior Design & Textiles at the Instituto Europeo di Design.
One day she went to Peru to visit her family. They made her a gift: a horse. This marked a turning point in her career giving her the inspiration she had been waiting. Horses and equestrian opened the door to the world of fashion through equestrian sports.
After hours of hard work, Claudia Bertorelo saw her dream come true to be recognized talent in the ‘International Competition for Young Creators of Fashion’ in Lima, Peru and ‘Contest of Young Creators of Fashion’ at the Carrousel du Louvre, Paris (France). She describes herself as a perfectionist, she completed her studies at the Chambre Syndicale school of haute couture of Paris in Paris.
She currently works from her own atelier in Lima. She has received numerous awards, participated in parades and various fashion weeks also having appearances in magazines like Vogue Mexico. Her enthusiasm for fashion is reflected in her creations and development techniques.
