Orlando Urdaneta, actor, entertainer and humorist Venezuelan, born in Maracaibo, Zulia State, on October 14, 1946.
Active actor, very young, first in theater and then in soap operas and films, stood out as an animator program television and radio, both magazines variety and competitions, and humorous. He has received several awards for his work, as the “Municipal Theatre” in 1997, and the following year was awarded for “The House of the Artist”. During 1998 and 1999, he received the “National Association of Film Artists” (ANAC) award for its participation in the Venezuelan film “Pandemonium” and “100 Years of Forgiveness”.
From the arrival of Hugo Chavez as President of Venezuela in 1999, Urdaneta is increasingly interested in politics, being a critical and anti-government dissident active, working on talk shows news channel Globovision, like “Headlines of Tomorrow” and “The Time of Orlando”.
